Dawstar Freelancing and Video Production is Owned and operated by Chris Dawson. Chris is a graduate of the University of Montana's Broadcast Journalism ('94) program, and Lethbridge Community College’s Broadcast Journalism program (’90). Prior to the establishment of Dawstar, Chris worked as a photojournalist and anchor at CJDC-TV in Dawson Creek, B.C., as well as MCTV-North Bay. Whatever the project may be, Dawstar Freelancing always strives for excellence. Dawstar productions are shot on DVCpro or MiniDV format with Canon XL2, Panasonic DVX100 A, Panasonic PV-GS50, and Bulletcam 480 Helmet-cam video cameras. Still photography done with a Canon Powershot S-5. Video editing done on a Vegas 8.0 edit system. Can work with Betacam format as well. DVD authoring available. |
